Fr. Frank A. Kurucz was appointed the 10th Pastor of St. Cajetan Parish in November 2005 by His Eminence Francis Cardinal George. Fr. Frank was ordained on May 23, 1998 and previously served as the Associate Pastor of St. Alexander Parish in Palos Heights from 1998 – 2005 and as Associate Pastor of St. Julie Billiart Parish in Tinley Park in 2005.
Fr. Frank was born in Chicago, Illinois and was raised in the greater Roseland area. He attended St. Salomea School before transferring to St. Victor School in Calumet City and is a graduate of Mt. Carmel High School.
Fr. Frank holds a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from the University of Illinois – Urbana, was a Certified Public Accountant and worked for 8 years in public accounting before entering the Archdiocesan Seminary System. Fr. Frank obtained a Baccalaureate of Sacred Theology and a Masters of Divinity both from the University St. Mary of the Lake in Mundelein, Illinois.
In addition to his duties as pastor of St. Cajetan, Fr. Frank serves on the Presbyteral Council of the Archdiocese of Chicago as the representative from Vicariate V, Deanery C and on other various committees.
